Information about our gaming license and Random Number Generator (RNG)
We take security and fair play very seriously. We are licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) (www.mga.org.mt) with a Class 1 and Class 3 license; license numbers MGA/CL1/711/2010 and MGA/CL3/711/2010.
One of the requisites of the MGA is a certificate from an independent third party to ensure that the Random Number Generator (RNG) is completely random. The RNG is the part of the software that generates the numbers on the bingo balls and cards. Our Casino partners, Netent, and Microgaming, also share all information and RNG’s that they operate with ourselves and the MGA to ensure that all casino play is fair and random.
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a special laboratory that examines RNG’s and issues certificates in case the tested RNG is indeed completely arbitrary. ShinyBingo has, as part of the due diligence by the MGA, undergone these tests and has been issued a certificate by GLI that certifies the randomness of the ShinyBingo RNG.
The licenses of the MGA in Malta and the RNG certificate guarantee our players a safe, fair and secure game at all times.
As a responsible gambling operator, we are also committed to protecting vulnerable players, a commitment we provide with our comprehensive Responsible Gambling page which lists various organisations and prevention options that we have available to apply to your account. We also contribute to research into the treatment and prevention of problem gambling by donating to The Responsible Gambling Trust.
